In my 20+ years in the publishing industry, I have worked on quite a few curriculum lines in which the design would change from quarter to quarter for every new season (every 3 months) of the year. I have a lot of experience with branding and packaging. Both in designing and applying a brand design throughout the entire product line. Applying the new or redesigned brand to a product line is not an easy feat. Adapting the design to work with different elements (ex: CDs, DVDs, imprints, teacher/ student book covers, marketing pieces, etc) within the product line is tedious work The goal is to have each element look good as a stand alone product, but still be a cohesive reflection of the product line that all become a family. Below are several product lines I have worked on throughout the years. Some of these product lines have undergone numerous rebranding revisions to stay fresh and current with market. Additionally, many of the product lines had multiple age levels so each age level had it’s own unique look but still reflected that it was part of one product brand.
